Media outlets have circulated an image of a mural depicting a Shahed drone on a wall near the UAE Embassy in Tehran, accompanied by an English-language message threatening the United Arab Emirates amid ongoing tensions between the two countries.
The mural features a black depiction of a drone alongside the message: “This sound is close to you, closer than you think.. Good night UAE,” accompanied by a simulation of the sound of a drone followed by an explosion.
According to media reports, the mural is located on Khordain Street in Tehran’s Shahrak Gharb district, near the UAE Embassy. However, the identity of those who designed or carried out the artwork remains unclear.
There is no reliable information indicating that the mural is linked to the Iranian government or any official institution in the country. No confirmed information has emerged regarding the identity or motives of those responsible for it.
Some reports have speculated that the mural may have been created by individuals or activists holding hard-line political views, but this possibility has not been confirmed, and there is no concrete evidence establishing the perpetrators’ identities or affiliations.
No official comment from the UAE regarding the mural or its message has been reported.
