The Saudi-led coalition announced on Tuesday that it had intercepted and destroyed ballistic missiles and drones launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia toward two regions of Saudi Arabia.
According to the coalition, the Houthis launched three ballistic missiles toward the Eastern Region and four drones toward the kingdom’s Southern Region. All seven threats were intercepted and destroyed, the coalition said.
Early Warning Alerts Issued in Eastern Region and Al-Kharj
Saudi Civil Defense had issued early warning alerts over potential hostile threats in the Eastern Region and Al-Kharj Governorate.
Authorities later announced that the danger had passed in both areas, following the response to the reported threats.
