One person was killed and two others were injured early Monday after an Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Kafr Rumman in southern Lebanon, amid escalating tensions and renewed accusations between Israel and Hezbollah over violations of the ceasefire agreement.
The strike came as the Israeli military issued a new evacuation warning to residents of Deir ez-Zahrani in the Nabatieh district, ordering the evacuation of a specific building and surrounding structures ahead of a potential strike.
The Israeli military called on people inside the targeted building and nearby structures to leave immediately and move at least 300 meters away from the area.
Israel Accuses Hezbollah of Violating Ceasefire
The Israeli military claimed that the targeted building was located near a Hezbollah facility and said it intended to take action against the site.
It also accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire agreement by launching an explosive drone toward Israeli forces, saying the alleged incident prompted the Israeli military action.
Hezbollah has not yet issued a response to the Israeli accusations contained in the warning.

The latest developments come amid continued tensions along Lebanon’s southern border, where Israel has carried out repeated strikes and operations while exchanging accusations with Hezbollah over breaches of the ceasefire agreement.
