Widespread fires broke out at warehouses in the Tarasivka and Boyarka areas near the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, following Russian strikes targeting sites used to support Ukrainian armed forces.
The strikes came as Russian forces continued targeting military and logistical facilities linked to Ukrainian troops, including warehouses and storage sites used to secure supplies.
Russian drones also targeted Ukrainian ports and vessels during the day, with Moscow claiming that the sites and ships were being used to transport supplies and military equipment for Ukrainian forces.
One strike destroyed a dry-cargo vessel carrying military equipment at the port of Odesa, while another hit an ammunition depot in the town of Petrovka, located about 38 kilometers north of Odesa.
Strikes Target Military and Logistics Infrastructure
The Russian strikes also targeted transportation infrastructure, ammunition and military equipment warehouses, drone production and storage facilities, as well as temporary positions used by Ukrainian forces and foreign mercenaries across 146 areas.
The developments come amid continued military escalation between Russia and Ukraine, with both sides carrying out strikes against military facilities, infrastructure and sites linked to the movement and supply of forces.
