
US President Donald Trump spoke with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on Thursday to discuss regional developments, according to the Emirati News Agency (WAM).
The two leaders addressed ongoing Iranian attacks targeting the UAE and other countries in the region, including strikes on civilians, civilian infrastructure, and vital facilities.
The statement said both sides viewed the attacks as a violation of state sovereignty and international law.
Trump condemned the Iranian attacks and reaffirmed US solidarity with the UAE and other regional partners, as well as Washington’s full support for efforts to defend their territory, stability, and security.
